Maori Foods and Dishes

Hi Bloggers,
I made a word art creation about trandional Maori Foods and dishes. If your wondering why I put a shape of a chicken in my word art, it's because there was nothing to go with it and I had to choose this one. It looks amazing (: .

What an awesome post and I agree the chicken shape is an amazing way to display your Maori foods. Have you ever tried any of the Maori foods you have listed? I really love kumara, especially when it is cooked in a Hangi. When I was younger we used to go to a place called Okarito, and we would have a hangi on New Years Day. It was so much fun watching the hole being dug and seeing the steam rising as the food was cooking.

Have you ever been to a hangi? This link will take you a video showing you the process. I hope you enjoy it.

    Ka pai Dahran.

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)
