Thanks for putting this post up, it was highly informative! As a teacher myself I find that I often have many students who speak many different languages. It would be great for me to learn more common phrases like happy new year and happy birthday in different languages so I can share those with some students!
The only ones that I knew already were English and Māori. How about you? Do you speak any languages other than English?
