Hello, fellow bloggers!
I made a message sender  using yarn/string, a plastic bag, a water bottle, and Black tape. This is how you us it: you throw it in your neighbor's house or in your closest friend's house. Your neighbor or your friends take out the bottle cap of the bottle and take of the message. Then they throw it back to you. It was really fun doing this activity. Thank you Nanogirl for setting up this activity for us. What would you invent to make the world a better place?

  1. Kia ora Dahran,

Fiona here from the Summer Learning Journey team. Great work creating a very unique message sender - ka pai! I think it is so cool how this invention could be used to send secret messages to your friends and neighbours, and that they can then return the message!

Did you find the string, plastic bag, water bottle and black tape while doing the Nanogirl scavenger hunt? You have been very creative to come up with this idea. Have you had a chance to test it out? If so, let me know how it went! I haven't come up with my own invention to make the world a better place just yet, but I do think an invention to help reduce plastic waste is really important.

    Keep up the great mahi!

    Mā te wā,
    Fiona (SLJ)
